Mini-map: can you change its size?

Hello,
I know the TAB key will maximize the mini-map. But can you just change its size? I want to make it a bit larger, filling more of the screen so that I don't need to 'pan' that often.

I don't think that's possible.

It already takes up quite a bit of tactical screen real estate.

Considering I play mostly from the larger map, when I do go to tactical view I like the screen to mostly display the non-map visuals.

I thought it was very impressive that you could still direct weapon shots on that little map while in tactical view! ...but I don't want it to be larger, I would just be looking for ways to minimize it then.
