Damaging Ships

Is there any mod out there that can alter SH3 to recognize ships damaged and you can get renown for it ?

For instant in my last patrol I hit 3 ships but was unable to finish them off interesting enough a Dido class cruiser sank two of them when firing at me but obviously I was not credited with them.

Any ideas ?
