Exit Bug on Mission Briefing

So I recently started a new campaign after re-installing SH5 with WoS mod and the mission briefing for the first mission in poland im stuck in. I selected request mission but now i can get out to start the patrol. I tired ESC, i see no X to close out, Any help?

I always hit escape

The X box is hidden at the extreme top right map by plastic réflexion ... but it’s there
