One of the best among us, aanker (Arthur Anker), passed away Feb 10.

He will be remembered by many as a very supportive, very positive member, generous with his time. It is with profound regret that I post this update.

It's always sad to learn of the loss of a member here. I sadly, didn't know him except through his posts. I always liked reading them and he always seemed a decent sort and very positive.

Well that sucks. I had some interaction with him through an SH1 page on Yahoo, and he was always helpful there as well.
