Best way to buy SH5

I apologize if this is already covered, but I couldn't find a recent reference.

I am a long time SH2-4 player, and considering adding 5. I see it available as a download through various sites and as a disc. There is also a gold edition.
What is the best way to get the game so it is ready for the mods?

Hello klh

Now days it doesn't matter what you buy, it's all moddable.

If you update the game to v1.2 you will get the gold edition.

Best way is to get the disc! Even if others downloads are moddable.
Steam is a pain, and if i had the choice, i’d Buy the dvd

I bought my dvd on eBay

. Err yea then I found it for less in the subsim store.

I vote for the subsim store.
