Default movie/intro problem

Hello everyone. I have a problem that I'm hoping someone can help me with. Recently, I recently purchased a Dell computer and an external multi-player DVD unit in order to run SH3. I have also installed Invidia 6200 graphics card. With my old computer, when I downloaded the SH3 game, I had no problems, but with my new Dell, I have been having issues with the intro. For example, it would load up normally, but to go into the actual game my screen would be black. I paid a computer technician to see what he could do and he said that he did something with the intro/movie file where he bypassed the movie and that seemed to fix the problem.

I downloaded a few mods and got a menu ID error message so I then uninstalled the game and now, instead of getting a blank screen, I get after the protection tool runs immediately I get a scrambled screen that flashes for a few seconds and then freezes which I have to turn off the computer in order to just to get back on the desktop.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on and what I should do? Thanks and good hunting.

Default Intro

Gizzmoe suggests deleting the movie files from the data\movies\into .
This doesnt work for me. I had to do a fresh install of SH3. I then saved the movie folder in my documents. Whenever these files get deleted by a mod or just corrupted, I reinstall this folder in my SHIII data file. My computer won't load the game unless the movie files are present, intact, and run at startup. I just hit the enter key and bypass them when they start as the game loads.
