Hi, does anyone know how to shutdown a torpedo after it is launched so I don't sink a neutral or friendly? Also is there a way to shutdown a Harpoon in flight? If there is no way to shut weapons down after launch let me know, it's driving me nuts I cannot find how to shut my torpedo down. THANK You!

No detonate buttons available for weapons after they're launched.
If you have the wire for torps you can angle it off to point away from neutrals/friendlies. But no detonate weapons command exists so far as I'm aware. |

As in real life, once torpedoes are off the wire, or "fire and forget" missiles are in the air, they are marked To Whom It May Concern. They will keep going until they encounter a target or run out of fuel.
Again in real life, there are some missile systems which allow you to command-detonate the weapon, but generally these are anti-air systems where the missile has a constant radio downlink to the launcher. This is obviously impractical for a submarine as it would need to keep an antenna above the water. |

THANK you for the info, I have been running my torpedoes in the ground to explode them and shut them down, not sure if in deep waters if they shut down from making them go deep. Will have to give that a try. If what Cold Water does with shut down is realistic then realistic is Best, hard to believe that's the way it is, sure makes it a scary enviroment for everyone close by. Thanks for the info.
