Default Monkey

IMG_5649[1] by Blair Shaw, on Flickr

Hello my name is Monkey and this year I will be 15 years old, November 16th is my Birthday, I was bought in 2002 by a lovely young girl and friend of my keeper she made him promise to take care of me and take me where ever he goes.
My Keeper has taken me across the world with him, we have had many adventures along the way and seen so many places as well as met some nice and strange people along the way.

Here are my pictures over the years.

On way home from Oslo to Copenhagen this ferry even had a hot tub but i cant swim and it is too deep plus i dont think others want to share the tub with me.

I may be young but I also have a family my wife Danni and my Son Mo but they stay at home while I explore its safer.

So we now drive trucks this time we go all over Europe, it seems fun however I do tend to be left in the truck all the time so eventually I demanded my keeper pay me for this which he duly did isn’t he great!

I am not big on snow but my keeper loves it he even showed me how to make a snow monkey while waiting for a ferry back home

Now I know my keeper loves submarines and ships he takes me on the all but my biggest problem with this is that I cant swim ! so he had to buy me a floatie so I could lounge in the pool with him on our holiday to the Dominican republic, I must say sun burn hurts! So I decided to take some shade in a palm tree and to seek some revenge threw coconuts at my keeper for his oversight.

I always get a kick out of seeing monkey in various places. I have showed other people and the comments range from laughing at all the places he has been to how original this is but all have been positive.

Keep them coming.

Monkey has done Pripryat Chernobyl and the Chernobyl 2 radar we have been to many other places some i was unable to photograph due to the nature of where we were or what we were carrying.
A lot of our Persian gulf runs for example were for the UK MOD during the Iraq war so photography was prohibited although i did get some snaps from the Suez Canal and some other places around the world.

Jim thanks mate good to know i'm working on secondary to block 1

CW thanks monkey has kept me going through the years some of my time hasn't been positive but having him in Moscow to Madrid and in between has always drawn a positive response.

So sorry, buddy... shame on me for forgetting that you did indeed visit the Chernobyl area. I had thought I'd read that somewhere else but it was of course here on Subsim; there have been so many accounts of such visits on Facebook recently by young intrepid Eastern European types... yours was a brilliant account
