Default Least favourite Christmas songs

As a counter to the other thread.

I generally like Christmas music but there as some that I just don't. I am not talking about deliberately bad or satire songs; nor about some of the absolutely horrible modern renditions of songs; but "legitimate" classic Christmas songs that I cringe when they come on the radio while driving.

The Little Drummer Boy. Probably not because there is anything especially wrong with this sappy song, but more that the radio station in our area seems to play this same song every third Christmas song. Enough!

I am also getting close to my saturation point with the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Another case of too much.

What are some of your cringe-worthy Christmas songs?

The entire Chipmunk Christmas CD is utter garbage.

I'm sorry but do I detect Christmas Hersey?

Anyways as for me Do They Know It's Christmas is honestly the only one I don't like. It's so cringey and kinda racist that I can't stand it.

The same old garbage gets trotted out each year here: Roy Wood, Slade with Noddy "bloody" Holder shouting "It's Christmas", Cliff Richard, Jonah Loui, Band Aid and anything on those reprehensible Xmas Compilation albums. Apart from the Pogues and Kirsty Mcall. That is ok.

Why no. But this woman is in for a real surprise when she is served divorce papers on the premise of infidelity.

That's not infidelity. That's just getting a Xmas goose.
