I have been testing RuB, testing the IX class boats. It seems during DC attacks and damage, I get a looped message in message bar: CE: "Rudder port damaged, sir!" This message occurs whether the system is damaged or not, keeps repeating until the CE icon is removed from the control room and resumes when the icon is put back. It is more than a inconvienence, as other messages will not come through. Or if the Chief Engineer is not at his station.
![]() ![]() I have been running U-505 scenario as this is a good scenario to test DC damage and AI behavior. As far as I can tell, this only happens with IXC or IXC/40. I have RuB 1.45, SH3 Commander 2.5, NYGM crew management, some sound mods, sky mod and battery fix. Anybody else see this behavior? Which mod is it connected to? :hmm: Regarding SH3 commander, I made the changes JScones suggested to no longer get the Destroyed diesel message. Changed settings back and looped message still occurred. :hmm: |

![]() ![]() Look, if you're convinced that SH3Cmdr is the cause of all your problems, PLEASE stop using it. To my knowledge this problem has been around since day one, or at least reported very early on - unfortunately, the search function is not working otherwise I'd link you to posts discussing the issue, like I have with all of your other issues. |

Well ordinarily I'd use my catchcry "search the forum first", but the blasted history seems to have disappeared. I've let Neal know...hopefully all is not lost.
Anyone else experiencing unstable behaviour on Subsim lately? Last night it was unavailable at 5.30pm, 7.30pm and 8.30pm Sydney time (hmmm, maybe I need to get a life?). |
