Default Lifeboats & Debris with Merchant Ship Mod...

I have installed Merchant Fleet Mod 3.2.

I want to install Lifeboats and Debris mod v4.

It conflicts with NLL.val.

Does MFM already include lifeboats and debris? Is it OK to install L&D over MFM?

NLL.val is just one ship so I would say it will work fine.

Thanks, I was hoping that would be the case.

Unfortunately I get a CTD with MFM installed. This is a very stout computer so must be something with the mod.

That's the big killer. Without the 4Gig Patch (AKA Large Address Aware) your PC, no matter how good it is, will only apply two GB to the game, and it will crash every time.

It comes with BL!TZKR!EG's excellent Front End (along with a bunch of other good stuff, if you want it).

That's probably it!

I am just now re-installing SH3 after a few years away, and a year or so of SH5 before that.

My 7-year-old wants to play SH3 so I am getting it fired up again.

Expect your load times to increase as well with MFM, that is a lot of ships to load into memory.
