Default Greetings!

Good Day (or night) All,

I just wanted to pop by and say hello after recently registering on the forums here. I was brought here by some youtube exposure to Silent Hunter III some time ago, and I recently took advantage of the Steam summer sale to grab it at 50% off!

I have never played a sub sim prior to SH3, but I have to say, I am really liking it. I have more or less been obsessed with 2nd World War military history for the better part of my life and I have always found submarine warfare utterly fascinating.

Anyway, I am glad to be a part of the community here and would love to hear some mod recommendations! I am currently using GWX 3.0 and am about to start messing around with NYGM, but if anyone has any suggestions they feel really make the game for them, I would love to hear them!

Good Luck and Fair Seas Kameraden!

Kind Regards,

FallingPotatoes

Welcome to Subsim. Nice Intro as well. You can read up in the forums as to the mods that people use and like as well as a bit of a description of them.

Happy hunting.
