New ding-dong for Aussie military service

Just completed my application form. My Dad's pretty jacked though - every time he gets his medals mounted he gets sent a new one!

Won't be long and there'll be one for successful completion of the recruit course!

Congrats. Thanks for sharing that with us. Almost makes me kind of homesick. I miss Anzac Day.

Likewise I am a little homesick this week....and not an AU war memorial anywhere within a days drive. Best I can do is dawn service in the back yard around a BBQ with the dog and I.

My father also put in for his couple of weeks back. He thought I was being a smart@$$ when I asked if he put in for 6.
