SH4 Group Play?

Wish there was a way we could get together somehow, like a group of us here in this forum, and match wits and tactics in a multi-player role. I have seen the "multiplayer" option on my SH4 menu, but don't know how to use it.

I think that it is possible, but I'm not sure. I do know that some people managed to get mulitplayer on SH3 working, but it required a download of Haimachi (If I remember correctly). There was also the issue of mod compatibility from what I read. Everyone had to have the same mods enabled to be able to run a game.
