Default RA TMA distance jump around

Hey guys,
I got a little annoying problem with the tma.
Scenario:
I have 2 tracker on 1 contact (hull and sphere )
And my WAA said it would be ~ 7800 meter away but the TMA distance jumps around even when I lock the distance.
Why is that so?

I'm assuming you have auto-crew on. Have you RAP LOC'd that WAA distance to the TMA? That might help with the jumping around. Otherwise, the TMA isn't going to know about that WAA distance and it's going to use traditional methods to determine the solution. Also, if you lock certain variables in the TMA, auto crew won't care and will keep doing its thing. Locking variables only works if you're doing the TMA with auto crew off.

My solution: do the TMA yourself

I don use any auto crew except anti intercept
That's why I'm confused

Are you certain it's off? I've never experienced that behavior. Sometimes the TMA takes a ruler from one solution and applies it to another but I don't think I've seen what you're seeing. Are you saying you'll be sitting at the Nav Map and the solution is bouncing around? That is definitely what I've come to know as Auto Crew TMA behavior.

Yes, because i have turned it from the very beginning due your Tutorials i was confident enough to not turn it on erver.
And i haven't had it in except of RA either.
And not really Bouncing.
For example:
I certainly know my target is 7000 meter away and i can put the rule to 7000 but he always jumps back to "6000" and as far as i know auto crew TMA will circle all my contact but that doesn't happen which i think mean it wasn't turned on (or any Solution was entered)

You do need to press the enter solution button to make the ruler stick. Or else it will keep plotting the solution from it's memory.

Still won't work
I think I'll make a short video to demonstrate it

Here you can see how the Distance is jumping around and Auto-Crew is off

Not just distance. The bearing of the solution entry also changed to 75 and 67 degrees when you were changing range only (1m 35 sec). I can't explain that. Unless there are undocumented key-combos or simple I'm unaware of them that allow moving the ruler without mouse or entry panel. But that is speculation.

I reinstalled that and will look if the problem is gone since it's almost impossible to get a accurate solution that Way

I've noticed that the solution will 'jump around' if the target is changing course. (I use auto TMA, I have to confess)

To me, this seems reasonable as the TMA guy tries to get an accurate solution again (he has a correct one again after a few minutes).

A jumping solution is the first indicator to go "All stop good quiet" in case the target's new course is not a favourable one for the tracker (i.e., me). (Just like Mancuso does in Red October!)

Sure but this shouldn't happen with manual TMA since the only two things which change the position of the Rule is either ME or the target itself due their speed.

When you reinstalled, did you delete the entirety of your Dangerous Waters directory? Or did you just uninstall and reinstall? If you don't manually go in and delete that directory, stuff still hangs around.

Yes i deleted the complete Dangerous Waters Installation.
It would be kind if anyone can test if the TMA in the 212 from Germany make problem for others too.
If that's not the case then im clueless
