Default What's the best movie of the Year?

Please don't say Brokeback Mountain.

Although I'm by no means a full time movie watcher I was pretty impressed by L.A. Clash.

I thought Serenity was really good too. I also liked Underworld: Evolution even though nobody else seemed to like it (I like Vampire movies).

I was never sure why Firefly didn't catch on, although I never watched the series myself. Battlestar Galactica (the new version) is better though. But this thread is about movies.

Battlestar Galactica = best sci-fi series on TV. I can't wait for season 3 to start

If Firefly and Space: Above and Beyond were still on TV BSG would really have some competition!

Actually, I didn't know the show existed until reruns were being played. I now like it (although the movie was indeed better than the series). But that statement did sound wrong.

EDIT - Some people have said that Star Trek DS9 was the most similar show to BSG. I liked DS9, but it is not as good as BSG.

I think Space: AAB is the most like BSG. I would even dare to say it was better than the new BSG.
