Getting back into SH4 after a long long break and am slowly relearning the basics from various vids and tutorials.
Anyway I have noticed on several vids that the players have a much larger easier to read chronometer and I would really like to have this in game too. So is there a mod that does this or do change some file values. Much appreciate any help on this one Cheers |

![]() Maybe I'm misremembering this, but I thought the stock chrono was fairly large, and that some modders made it smaller, so it did not take up as much space. |

I just loaded up my default save of SH4 and sure enough the Chronometer is larger.
So how do I go about copying all the settings that refer to the Chronometer from my default version to my modded version. Any help out there ![]() |

Find the menu_1024_768.ini, make a backup of it before editing, its better to be safe than sorry.
Winmerge or something similar will do the job quicker but notepad can do it although you will need to be more careful with your editing. Look for [G29 I2] and copy all of these same lines from your vanilla menu_1024_768.ini into your modded version. These lines below are from a modded menu-1024_768.ini so its just a matter of reversing these changes with your vanilla default ones. I hope thats clear enough for you, if not I'm sure you will let us know. ![]() Code:
