Need help modifying file...

I installed several mods. One of them added the crash alarm sound every time I order periscope depth. Profoundly annoying. Will someone please direct me to the file and phrase I can undo this, please?

copy and paste your mods from the **.mep file if using JSGME.

I'm pretty new to modding. I searched my entire drive for *.mep file. Nothing.

Are you using JoneSoft Generic Mod Enabler (JSGME)? If so, the **.mep file(s) are in the C:\Users\<your profile name>\Documents folder for windows 7 and something like C:\Documents and Settings\<your profile name>\Documents folder for XP.
