The storm has hit in all it's fury. Can't see the houses across the street. Current wind speed here, Charlottetown, is 73 km/h. Predicting gusts up to 110 km/h over night and 15 cm more snow. Also a big danger of storm surge on the north shore during high tide. Really bad now along the Bay of Fundy. Weather Network reports gust there at 190 km/h. That's a hurricane. Safe to say no work or school tomorrow.

I hate winter.

That's actually not far from the truth when you go to the grocery and find the bread and dairy aisles ransacked by the thunderous hordes who stock up on more perishables than they can eat before the goods expire.

Today is supposed to be the last day when the temperature doesn't get above zero. I'm actually having trouble believing that. It's been brutal here, I tell you. Worst winter I can remember

Cool. I guess you're driving and flying. We're flying out of Charlottetown. I'm ten minutes from the airport. I drive everybody and all the luggage over, take the car back home and taxi back.
