How do you play on windowed mode?

I can't figure out how to play on windowed mode?

What I do is I click on windowed mode in the graphic settings, switch down the resolution then restarting the game. However after restarting, the game is still on full screen but the resolution has been scaled down to the resolution that I've chosen.

Additional info:
I'm running with version 1.5
Few mods installed (TMO)

RockinRobbins gave the answer in the thread you linked. I play in windowed mode because I mod and need to switch back and forth. Desktop resolution is 1920x1080 and game is set to 1600x900. When you go into the game resolution there should be some options highlighted and others darkened out; reason being is you need to maintain the same aspect ratio for desktop and game for it to work.
