Soldier killed in Afghanistan named

The latest casualty in Afghanistan and he's from just down the road to me.

A British soldier killed in Afghanistan days before Christmas has been named as Captain Richard Holloway, of The Royal Engineers.

The Ministry of Defence said the 29-year-old from County Durham was killed in action while on operations east of Kabul on Monday.

The US just lost a couple more in a helicopter crash recently in Afghan. I say the war is done, bring them home now! I served in Iraq in 2007 so I have the right to say end it! My condolences for your loss!
