Default Depth charge sink rate

First...apologies if this has been covered previously. I HAVE tired to use the...well..."search" function.

What are the sink rates of depth charges in the game. I know the real sink rates and I realise that SH3 only models one type of depth charge, ie not slow and fast sinking ones.
My gut feeling is that they are up to twicw as fast, or even more.
Has anyone looked into this?

My experience with destroyers has been mixed. I have also sworn over the lack of efficiency and ability to find me only to be caught in a cat-nd-mouse game in shallow waters on the next patrol.

My worst was when I was detected on the surface outside Sierra Leone by a lone escort, discovered and pinged while submerged and accurately depthcharged att 200+ meters. Stephan MĂĽhlberg and crew was lost with all hands...

Just when you start feeling safe....

No, they're at slow rates. The sink rate is exactly 3 m/s.

Thanks for the fast reply.

They seem faster, but I'll trust you on this
