Cameron threatens censorship against British press

We do not censor you as long as you do not print what we do not want you to print. It's your social responsibility to obey our demands and to betray your journalistic professional obligation.

It seems Cameron indeed does not need the EU to learn how to run media in Sovjet or German style anymore.

Ironically, the British secret service responsible for ELINT sniffing and surveillance of communications is named "Government's Communication Head Quarter GCHQ".

They will soon implement the GMT, the Government's Ministry of Truth once they have completed the Gleichschaltung of the press.

"I do not spy on you - I communicate with you. I do not want your business secrets - I want to maintain good relations with you. I have absolutely no intrest in your business secrets. Okay okay, some weeks ago I said the intel service should work for the commercial and business interests of British enterprises, but I did not mean it. I mean I did not really mean it."

Well, Davyboy - and I do not pull the cat's tail - I just hold it tight.

Cameron's action in the cellar of the Guardian already was stupid enough. He has not become any smarter since then, it seems.

The legislation predates the EU by decades and the soviets by 5 years.
Nothing new, so who learned from who?

I agree with him in principle but it will never happen...too many papers are pro Tory and support them financially.
