However, what I've noticed is that I was always heading to the patrol area at flank speed (it's close, no fuel worries) which meant that I made contact with the two polish dds before hostilities officially began. I sunk the ships on 31/08, but war started on 01/09. So, I tried getting there with a slower speed, making contact with the dds after midnight, so 01/09. After sinking the ships I could see the captain's log just fine, with the mission's primary objective complete, and after saving the game it loaded fine. I hope this helps! |

I can confirm the above story .. had the same issue .. it solved itself by me changing my habits and getting there a little later in the game. Never connected the dots till now. Thanx

Trevally, tried, no luck. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, made sure everything was deleted. Put just the UI and the Tutorial mods on, still got a corrupt automation file error.
Ill try arriving a little later on the DDs, after war is declared and see if that fixes my cap log crash. |
