Distance!

Hi, its me again with another "stupid" Q.
Running GWX3 and MaGui F i so do need a distance showing to a ship spotted.
Anyone of you experts can point me into the right click or mod?

If you're on the surface, you can ask your Watch Officer to report Nearest Visual Contact. Left click the the WO icon in bottom right and then the binocular looking icon that pops up.

If youre looking to do it manually, unfortunately theres no stadimeter on the UZO in MaGui F. You have to basically guestimate using the ships mast and the marks on the vertical scale. I think the math is Range = mast/# marks x 405.

If you're using the periscope you can use the stadimeter or the marks, mast, and AOB wheel.

As far as I know, there is no mod that brings stadimeter back to MaGui F's UZO.

You can use the methods Tupolev told or use my mast/range chart from Charts addon 1.4. You can download the mod from Subsim's SH3 Graphics download section and edit the chart as a slideout to your UZO or print the tga with the mast/range chart.
