Oh, oh. Pick me!

Cloning would be fine. Also, can I be the guy with the rocket launcher?

Aww, I dont use rocket launchers.

You can be the Autocannon guy at first, then switch to the guided tactical nuke
launcher thingy.... Blaster Launcher or something.

Goodie, the Autocannon's HE rounds can cause some havoc too.

Right, how you all feel about AARs with no screenshots? Or with only few per report (highlights sort of)?

The thing with making an AAR off of XCOM is that the native resolution is 640x480,
which means I have to do a lot of resizing, which isnt that bad, but
the real problem is actually getting a good screenshot of the action. The camera
goes a bit bonkers usually during a hidden movement when something happens.

So, which do you prefer: The way I did it with TFTD earlier in the thread, or
an actual written after action report from a commander's POV with some
highlight screenshots/videos(if Dxtory works with DosBox)?

Whichever way is easiest for you Dowly, video is good for me. Although in the early missions all you really need to do is post how many died.

Myeah, the early missions are what I was thinking about when I asked.
They tend to be a bit repeative with mostly small UFOs. Scout the area,
stack up by the UFO door, get shot one at a time.

Stupid game.

I'm aware of the 20 turn AI "exploit", but I dont think I'll use that intentionally.
(at 20th turn, the AI goes into attack mode, so you can just camp the UFO door
and nail them one by one.)

As Oberon I'm good either way but if I have to pick one I'd probably choose written after action reports with a few pictures and/or videos as highlights. It might speed up playing the game as well when there's no micromanaging tons of pictures in which I usually get bogged down in some of my AARs.

Sigh.. if only I could get the damn thing to work properly again.
Yesterday, the music suddenly stopped working without reason.
Now I got the music working but the sounds are lagging.

EDIT: Hooray, it works! ... I think.
