Default Deck guns, sonar, and ? upgrade screen (SH4)

Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, if it's not I'm so sorry. I'm still trying to find my way around the site. I can upgrade the guns and sonar but what is the wrench icon for. Do you have to do something specific to get anything to show up in the wrench section. Thanks in advance for any help.

You know I'm not sure I've ever got anything from there - I have a vague memory of the ballast/fuel tank conversion being an option on that screen in one version or other of the game.

It's for upgrades that are neither weapons nor sensors. You won't see anything in there until it becomes historically available. The measure 32 paint scheme is the only thing showing in mine at the moment - I'm not sure if that's a feature specific to TMO or not - it certainly has no effect on the game.

Do you have to do anything to make stuff show up there? - Yes you do. - Stay alive

Welcome aboard and Good hunting

Also - Just checking your location - You're a bit early aren't you? I wasn't expecting you in these parts for quite some time.......

Thanks for the quick reply In Vino. I've never received anything in it and was just wondering what it was for.

The staying alive part can be a bit daunting at times.

Well, I was taking the 'ol mother ship out for a spin and spotted this blue marble just spinning around. Upon further inspection, I saw little humanoids darting to and fro, so I decided to set her down in the water. I liked it here so much I decided to stay a spell.

Welcome aboard Andromeda!

With your head in the stars, I think you'll do nicely for celestial navigation. I think it'll be easy while on the surface. It gets a little challenging while submerged. And wet too.

The little wrench on the upgrade screen I think is a TMO only thing. On the US side, you only get "Measure 32 paint scheme." On the German side, you get a few more choices as they become available.

Hi, Fireftr18

Thanks for letting me know what the wrench thing is for. I thought I might get a sub upgrade since it's a wrench but there is nothing like a good 'ol paint job.

Yeah, I do like to do a little backyard stargazing when I can.

I guess it would be hard to see through the water and I don't think I could hold my breath that long.
