F.B.I. Charges 159 Men With Forcing Teenage Girls Into Prostitution

WASHINGTON — The Federal Bureau of Investigation said Monday that a nationwide operation had led to the arrests over the last few days http://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/pre...e-prostitution to work as prostitutes. Some of the girls were as young as 13. The operation was part of a decade-long Justice Department program — the Innocence Lost National Initiative — that is intended to break up child prostitution rings. The program has led to the convictions of 1,350 people for pimping-related offenses, 10 of whom received life sentences, according to the F.B.I.

Good that they can pursue, their goals against trafficking and prostitution.

It is a matter of preventing this kind of thing gets attached, and be one step ahead ... but unfortunately the reality is different in that branch,,, I hope that the authorities will have a greater advantage in the long run, and it applies to all countries.

It's probably more a matter of gathering enough evidence for a conviction worthy of a lengthy prison term instead of just a slap on the wrist.

Investigations take time. You find out there's more pimps pushing more children, and you have to start collecting evidence against them as well, without making arrests on the others and blowing the whistle on the whole (taxpayer funded) investigation. It stinks sometimes, but it saves a greater number of children from these predators in the end.
