Default Shaded Overlay on Recognition Manual

I was wondering if anyone knew what mod might be doing this.

First the problem....

The list of mods I use that I'm suspecting are:

Bordinstrumente 1.0 (plus the mod that fixes the periscope buttons in that mod but I can't find the name)
Transparente Konsole
SlideoutAnzeigen (Simfeeling)
FABC_Slideout_Mod_14

I'd play with it myself, systematically uninstalling and reinstalling using jsgme, but as anyone who knows, those last two mess with the menu_1024_768 file (which I have edited manually, combining the last two mods on that list rather than going the jsgme route) and I'd rather not like to see what happens if I run the game with the edited 1024-768 but without those mods. So, I'm hoping someone just KNOWS what file is giving me that shaded recog-manual and help me swat it like the annoying fly that it is!

Thanks for any help you can give!

It looks like the Full Vulnerability for RUB or Merchant Vulnerabiity for RUB fix....

I made a mod the is for people that use the low contrast periscope and uzo that darkens pages by 50%. You are using the default Bordinstrumente periscope (which is either from the original bordisntrumente mod or the install of the default bordinstrumente button fix) so your pages are showing darker than the surroundings. So, you either need to switch to the low contrast periscope and uzo that bordinstrumente has available (which will darken the outer border of your recognition manual) or remove the Full or Merchant Vulnerabilty fix for low contrast scopes if you have that installed (which will turn your pages back to default color).

This is link of the mod that darkened the pages:

This is link of your button fix that might have switched your periscope back to default bordinstrumente color:

You know what Tiki, thanks for the help but the problem went away. Bare in mind I was up all night last night trying to get the "SlideoutAnzeigen" mod to work right, and God knows what I screwed up. I finally went to a backup data file and all is well.

Disclaimer: this is not any statement about the quality or ease of use of the great mod SlideoutAnzeigen. Yes, you have to pay attention while installing it, but it's worth every second. The only reason I was up all night doing it was because I'm foolish and tried to take it on after a long, difficult day at work. I was half asleep as I ploughed away. Bad idea.

yeah but, the above problem you are having is jsut a texture mixup....it has nothing to do with your menu files dealing with the slideout mod.......both light and dark textures are asociated with your C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Menu\Gui\RecMan ual directory...so unless this mod replaced the entire Menu or GUI folder then it should not be effected.
