SH3 1.4 > GWX 3.0 > SH3 Commander 3.2 > Fix for Commander & GWX > SH3 Contacts I have the values set pretty high and with thousands of ships in the ocean I would expect to be getting dozens of contacts per day or more. Problem I have is I have hardly any map contacts at all. So far I've gotten 2 in 7 days at sea. Or what do you all recommend? Is this because I selected no map update=true in the realism settings or what am I doing wrong here? Any help appreciated. Last edited by Jaystew; 04-26-13 at 02:50 PM. |

I'm not sure. I have a setup similar to yours, but I keep contacts set quite low, as I've done it for so long I've become more of a realism nut. I'm not sure what the threshold is for SH3 Contacts, or quite how it works. You might want to consider removing it altogether to see if that helps.

I might have to remove it. I was trying to increase the number of contacts I get and this thread seemed to indicate it was the way to go.
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...t=SH3+Contacts In fact Sailor Steve you were the one recommending it ![]() |

I seemed to have figured this out. The mods works, I just made some adjustments. One of the sticklers of making tweaks is you essentially have to return to port and then start a new patrol before some or most changes take effect.
Seems Im a victim of my noob self. Thanks for the recommendation on the mod though. This is great. |
