BATTLESTATIONS!

I have fired a salvo of Mk 14's at the IJN Hiryu and have sunk it. Currently, I am dropping to 72 feet to reload my tubes and shoot the IJN Yamato!

See your back harbor raiding helpless ships, the shame you must feel.

I actually raided Truk myself, but just to test some changes. Sunk the Nagato and Yamato, but never made it out of Truk. Course, I've scripted Truk to make it hard, massive shore guns, elite patrols, subnets and minefields. I just can't deal with the shame of riding in on the surface and sink a bunch of helpless capital ships.

Early reports indicate no lives lost on the Hiryu. They were all on shore leave!!!
Still awaiting a status report on the sub-chaser.

Well...the subchaser's skipper obviously doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground. If anyone needs shore leave, it's that guy. He obviously knows where I am...but no depth charges. If that thing drops depth charges, I would've died long ago...

Currently, it's making its rounds around the capital ships. I'm going to let it slide. I've put 5 torpedoes into Yamato and she's still afloat.

6 January
Picked up TF on radar at 32 kts. Unable to get in position, but we gave a good chase.

I'm not that bad. I just don't want to lose this career so early and it's just hard to attack a large group of warships in 65 feet of water. The game is glitching with the Hiryu. It's been burning for almost a whole day and the wreck moves....It sets the water on fire wherever it goes and it just creeps around the harbor. Seeing this in my periscope actually broke both periscopes and hurt my watch crew. WTF IS GOING ON?!

ARMISTEAD! WHAT VOODOO CURSE DID YOU CAST?!

Admiral Armistead, the personnel file you requested just came in and your suspicions were founded sir. LCDR Williams is in fact a direct descendant of Civil War General George B. McClellan. That may explain the above patrol report sir.

So is it a fair assessment to say that you are inside a harbor with two broken periscopes with injured crew members...all of this as warships could be arriving at any time?

Let's review, maybe we can find some clues to your issues........

"I'm not that bad"
"I just don't want to lose career so early"
"Hard to attack"
"The game is glitching"
"The wreck moves"
"Both periscopes broke and hurt watch crew"
"what is going on"
"Voodoo curse"

Let me think on it......

Hey, Armistead! Are you willing to become the missing ComSubPac and review/critique our performance? Uncle Charlie's staff sends us new assignments, and sometimes even a medal or two if we done good. But never a word of praise or criticism from the Old Man. You want the job? We could all post our PatReps and you could carve us a new one when we don't do 110% success. You'd be filling a real need!

Fine. I guess I'll just take some screenshots to prove that my periscopes are destroyed and there's a moving glitchy wreck.

I'm rather busy reading "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. I don't like hurting peoples feelings, so I'm not sure I'm the man for the job. You could ask Sailor Steve.

My goal is to remain positive and encourage new players to do the best they can.

Don't worry about SS, my guess is you would come back without any and blame it on Photobucket.

I know you think you see fire balls chasing your sub, hurting your crew and burning up both scopes. We understand your many fears. We are only concerned for your well being. Now, go lay in your bunk, the Doc will be alone to give you a lil shot of vitamins. It won't hurt too much, just close your eyes and go to a happy place.

We're very proud of your almost attack on the subchaser and I'm gonna give you a vacation when you return to base.
