It's time to pull out the Matt Holliday Jersey I got for Christmas. I'm going to go to a game later on in May. I love me some Cardinal Baseball.

If there are any Chicago Cubs fans out there, you need to follow a different team...

I also recommend the 1.5 version. It's a small investment considering the time you will spend patrolling the waters.
After all, you don't want your friends calling you "Captain Cheapskate" instead of "Captain Ha Ha".

And by the way, Go Atlanta Braves!!!

You know it pal.

And I was wrong about the Cards opening night. They open tonight. Either way, it's gonna be a good baseball season.

Look, it's understandable you got the dates wrong, you've been busy getting all the rations and supplies on the boat for your new assignment, not to mention all the administrative work involved.

Even though I'm an Atlanta Braves (NL) and Baltimore Orioles (AL) fan, I will have to say that the St. Louis Cardinals have a first class organization second to none and the most intelligent fans in baseball. They know their baseball.

I left on Patrol this morning. Where have you been? I even had a Ship's Party and all. I'm currently North of Okinawa.

I am fully aware of your location. I have it marked with a pushpin on my map. I was just pointing out the last few days have been real hectic for you and one cannot expect you to have the baseball schedule as your foremost concern.

Yeah...the Cards will go all the way. My XO and Radioman are the ones with the Girls League stuff. If you want in on that, go to them. I just stick to REAL baseball.

I'm sure the Grenadier crew knows that the Cardinals with Stan Musial are favored to win the National League pennant in 1943.
Oh boy, I hope I haven't started something there...

Nah...You're right. Stan the Man was great.

And 70 years later, we're still knocking out the Series' wins.

I was referring to the idea that you would start reporting the 1943 Cardinals scores relating to your patrol dates. For example, on May 20, 1943 the Cardinals (13-10) lost to the Dodgers 5-2. Stan Musial went 1-5 with a double. Yet another level of realism for you.

All this can be found on http://www.baseball-reference.com/

Hmmm, I wonder if this would make me "aiding and contributing to the delinquency"... of a hillbilly.
