Camera out of sector

Using TMO mod and RSRD.


I like how I can walk around the sub, but sometimes when diving and surfacing a bunch if I go back to the control room it says the camera is out of sector.

how do I reset it again? I can't find it in the dark, lol

You pushed your camera too far.

You don't walk around the sub. It's the free camera. If the camera is out of sector, just move it back toward the room in the sub. If that doesn't work I don't know how to reset it because it's never a problem for me.

I know its a free camera, just talking about the ability.. Its more dynamic though as the ship still rocks even in free camera.

But yea, moving it back towards the room would be nice... if I knew which was it was, lol

I hear you on the "Pretending to Walk Around" part. I do that all the time. It's best in SH5 though because it's actually a feature of that game.

2nd best interior free camera is in SH3 with the New Interiors installed that open up the whole boat.

Lastly, SH4....the external free camera has no boundaries and the inside one is pretty limited....but...the Bridge Free Camera is a bonus...You can "Walk" around on the deck....Watching the deck gun crew is fun sometimes.

I'm glad for the fact that there is actually a free camera. Sometimes, people don't realize that what we have is FINE the way it is.

I'm glad to see you're doing the job I sent you on. Take your time, make sure you do a good job.

I got that too with TMO. The free camera inside the sub is able to go out of the control room. When it does, since there isn't anything there, you just get a message that says, "Camera out of sector." I was able to fix it just by re-clicking on the "go to control room" icon. Apparently that isn't working for fastfed.

You can do the same thing in SH3. You can use the free camera to move to the conning tower too.
