Got in a good position on this freighter , before she was in the right angle degree I suddenly realised she,s gettin too close ,so reversed engines until she was 600 metres away, first torp hit and bounced off ,the same happened to the second. Was I too close before they armed theirselves or were they duds ?

Arming distance is about 300M, shooting angle is 60 degrees to 120 degrees for impact trigger, and assuming they didn't hit the curved bottom part of the ship and deflect downward, they must have been duds.

I'd say it was your AOB that was at fault....all eels arm at 300m apart from the Falke which arms at 400m.
