Just installed SH3 & "wolves" and all is good except.

THe SH2&3 disk from amazon are working just fine, except no where in the game opening can I see the notation of " 1.4b " as the version.

With in my list of programs it notes it as version 1.4 ??

Any thoughts there?

So far so good, the fun is back-- not as "pretty" as SH4 but sure is better in lots of other ways.

Now if I can remember how to get the JSGME ( or what ever it's called ) up and running thinks will back to almost normal.

The main screen lower right corner should say v1.4. The first 1.4 patch was not released, so they called the second one 1.4b but, never changed the name in the game.

Don't worry about it. There was no "1.4" release. There was some more testing and no matter what it says, "1.4b" was the only release.

Also the combined 2/3 is a fairly recent release and is fully patched. It's the one I use these days.
