Hull Numbers on Subs

Is there anyway to get hull numbers on the subs? I know there is a mod to get numbers for the sub names but not one which actually puts numbers on the subs themselves.

You'd have to make a modded skin for the boat, and swap it out each time.
You could use the emblem feature to TMO, if you use it, and replace the emblem with a number.

There will be hull numbers for submarines in my WWI mod - see below. It was just a matter of building a hull with less texture repetition. Unfortunately, I do not have time to do this for all of the American WWII subs.
