Default UPDATED MUST-HAVE MOD SUGGESTIONS

Hi guys, ***304; am new to SH5 and modding, i have read extensively on modding from subsim and watched stoianm's fantastic tutorials. My purpose is to make the game more playable and realistic without bringing unnecessary workload on my computer. After deciding against outdated Magnum Opus, i have taken sober's list and tried to choose ones i liked: - to prepare an uptodate must-have realism mod list...
Please comment if I should avoid any mods below for the sake of my purpose or what other mods you recommend as a must-have.. Please also check my questions section on bug-fixes and additional mods not present on sober's list..

Trevally Automated Scripts v0.6 added for the sake of conveniance not realism :-)

Questions:
1. When and if i should install following bug fixes:
-Torpedo Speed Fix
-Hydro ctd
-SH5.exe patches to fix bugs and add functionality
-Depth_Keeping_Problem_HB_2_0_0_TheDarkWraith

2. When and if i should install following improvements:
-TheDarkWraith_DC_Water_Disturbances_v2_0_SH5
-Venatore's SHV Mod Bunker (not on sober's list but i feel these sound improvements may add to the realism of the game, though i have reservations for possible conflicts with "Speech fixes and additions (english version)" and "Grossdeutscher Rundfunk" mods!!!

I THANK ALL MODDERS THAT WORK SO HARD TO MAKE SILENT HUNTER V A BETTER GAME..

This fix only need to be used if you have given promotion points to your torp man that gives them a speed increase.
I am not sure if "Reworked Morale and Abilities v.1.1" prevents this.
So just dont do anything that will give your torps a speed boost.

This is included within TDWs UI and OHII so you do not need it

As long as you do not have the steam version - you should add this bug fix.

Not sure about this one - there has been some debate if it is needed or not. Perhaps someone else can advice here

This is said to be not needed with the upto date version of IRAI.
If you find you are having a very hard time getting away from attacking DDs - you could add this mod then (after IRAI on your list)

I am sure it would be ok to add any of venatores sound mods to your list.
Just watch with JSGME for a confict with these two files:-
Sh.sdl
Commands.cfg

If these files are being overwritten - it will cause issues with other mods in your list.

I haven't been using the Depth_Keeping_Problem_HB_2_0_0_TheDarkWraith mod, and my Uboat has been staying at the depths I've called for with no problem..... so far.

Thanks Trevally and volodya, i have dvd version so technically i have no modding problem. Most of the things are clear now for me, just the depth keeping problem fix, can someone advise if it is still needed after these mods.

Trevally, i will TRY TO use TDWs Patcher but stock files are needed however the game is already updated itself, should i reinstall. Moreover, how can i find stock files everytime i make a patch? (I am missing something here but what!) Can you also confirm i need to use this with following on my list:

SteelViking's Interior Mod V1.2.2 Patch
Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1_HotFix
Eqp_Upgrades_fix_v1.4 dates by sober Patch V2
and
-SH5.exe patches to fix bugs and add functionality

any other??

Meanwhile searching for depth keeping problem i found another mod, "U-boat Historical Specifications 1.6 by ddrgn" which included this fix but i am not into such realism at the green level i am, maybe in the future :-) )

Another improvement i forgot to mention is "antilag by Kegetys" i will install that after all others, i do not expect any conflict with this one.

I welcome any other comments and thanks for your time..

Trevally, i have just read post 2 of TDW Patcher post which has stock files so disregard that part above. Are these only files i need to patch for any mod? If so, problem solved.

Try to use Stoianm pitch&roll for SH5 V1 instead of Depth Keeping Problem HB 2.0.0 TheDarkWraith.. - http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/down...o=file&id=3208
It's better than Depth Keeping Problem in my opinion..

Your list in post one looks good and I would go with that.
You can always add more later after you know your list is working

thanks trevally yea it will take some time to run mods and try them within the game, i will send comments and screenshot in due time. i am not sure on workings of TDW PATCHER, will try.. might come back here with more questions
on patcher.
