After my most recent patrol, a 40 day cruise with only 8k tonnage sunk? Yea, if I wasn't still the most successful skipper of the early war, I'd send myself there.

40 days, 27 of which were pure hurricane. Spotted a convoy that had either the HMS Nelson or her sister Rodney protecting it. 315 meters, and unable to shoot...Oh I was angry as I shadowed the convoy into Liverpool.

That's a rough experience but does add to the immersion of the game.

Oh yes. Normally after 5 full days of storm, I'd head for port, but sighting a battleship? In open water? Oi! I had hoped the storm would break as we entered the Irish Sea. Nope. Kinda just sat around then as a weather broadcaster.

One day, Rodney! One day!

Any Allied ship is a good target. Never pass up one that aides in the Allies supply. Besides, you could sneak around all over their shipping lanes and wait forever for the "right target". All Allied ships sunk count towards the main goal of all Uboats... "Sink em all".

And read the top line in my sig......
