So I know that you are suppose to use your PPI to get the bearing of a fleet once your crew has reported on a contact. However my question is in regards to the A-Scope, when using it how do you calculate the distance. Im using TMO and RSRD and the station is a bit different from the video I saw. I just want to make sure that if i'm using the white number as the distance to the bearing from the PPI is right. Also want to figure out what the green number (500) under the white number is. Just wanted to make sure im doing it correctly.
