This is outrageous! It's a stunning example of how the Federal Government has gotten way to big for it's britches.

And without Patty's knowledge, the Drug Enforcement Administration was paying his driver, Lawrence Chapa, to use the truck to bust traffickers.
At least 17 hours before that early morning phone call, Chapa was shot dead in front of more than a dozen law enforcement officers - all of them taken by surprise by hijackers trying to steal the red Kenworth T600 truck and its load of pot.

sheeesh. I understand the concept of undercover investigations, but this and other cases seem to be taking it way too far. Does anyone ever consider risk/benefit for these operations?

The threat to his family might not be as great as he thinks but there should be no threat at all.

But what also gets me is not only did they use his truck, risk his livelihood and jeopardize the safety of his family but they are stonewalling his obviously justified demand for reimbursement. They're "Going to investigate his claims"? Shameful treatment by a government agency known for it's excesses. They're like a federal version of that Arizona Sheriff Joe what-the-heck.

Joe Arpaio Maricopa County Sheriff .The guy that makes jail inmates wear pink underwear and forces all but the maximum risk ones to stay in tents you'd think that such things might lower the crime rate yet his jail seems to always be full.

I hear some people talk about how great he is and I ask them if they have ever lived or been to Maricopa County the answer is always no.If you have not actually seen a CSO in action how can you know that they or the sheriff in charge of them is any good?

DEA = banned word Enforcement banned word. or it could also mean Derp Enforcement Agency.

ATF= banned word Transgressing [your] Freedom

FBI= Flabbergasted Bureau [of] Imbeciles a police officer told me that one.
