No in-hull pictures anywhere? Is it just a shooter? "Action"-name sounds bad IMO.

Pah, it soon will face a hardcore sim that even does not need a round to clean it off the table - it simply will roll over it and leave it behind, flat and silent like an invalid stamp.

What's that Skybird? I'm really anxiously waiting to get WW2 Tank-SIM.

Steel Beasts Pro. But not WWII, I'm afraid.

Looks like Call of Duty but you're a tank instead of an infantry soldier.

I've played some nasty armor missions in OFP. Not the realsim of Steel Beast but still much better than this. And it's been that we since 2001.

Do you actually sleep at night with this sim still not released? Look forward to your review of it anyhow here some time in the future. I thought your review of FIA GTR racing a while back was good.

P.S. Like the fact you have joined the anti-Starforce ranks in your sig.

The GTR review was short, compared to what I do now. I'm not sure, but I think I copied the anti-SF-banner from you. Or was it someone else?

[rant on] Pah won't buy either, don't like modern stuff. Don't like arcade shooters either. Really why make the comparison? A high fidelity sim is great but not if the subject matter is not interesting well at least to me. Why no one has thought to do an up to date WWII tank sim is beyond me. [/rant off]

Seriously though I think it's great some are putting so much effort into quality software.

BTW AL, That's a great site you have on OFP.
I haven't got it yet, but it's alongside Dangerous Waters as the next game I want to get my hands on badly.

Isn't there a realistic WW2 tank sim out there? I remember it had very crappy graphics, 2D interiors, 640x480x16, but the demo was fun, for 10 minutes, if only I could remember the name.

Well, this is the sadest little tank sim I've ever played. It's not even interesting as an action game. The graphics are too bland to be of interest to the action crowd, and the gameplay is about as deep as the shallow end of a kiddy pool.

What were they thinking? This game doesn't do anything good that I can see, and fails at everything. Blow up tanks with a few shots, mow down some infantry with your hull machine gun, drive to the mystery, unlimited supply depots to refill ammo and repair any damage to you tank, on the spot. Repeat, ad nauseum.

God, the reviewers are gonna rip this game a new one when they get a hold of it. It sucks to be those developers.

Wasn't Panzer Commander or something like that?? I am hoping for one too...Steel Beasts Pro looks like everything I'd want in a sim except for the wrong period. But then it is supposed to be useful as a military trainer and unless we want to build a time machine to go back 60 years there isn't a call for such realism for WWII.
