Default Question to the ones who just got the game...

Guys,

So far I love it. There are some bugs still to work out, but it's a very engaging sim. I have 1.03 Beta / LWAMI 3.0 Beta running.

Purchased it shortly after Christmas from BestBuy (I got the last copy). I just started running 1.03B (with one crash-to-desktop to date). I intend to install the LWAMI mod shortly (I know as soon as I do, the official 1.3 patch will be released, forcing me to uninstall it. )

I am a SC player, so the game is not completely new to me. I will say that I consider my DW purchase (including the extra money for the printed manual) to be well-worth the price. I am having a great deal of fun with the game (it is even taking me away from chess and my new Fritz 9 program---what higher praise is there?!? ) The game is buggy, but I am sure that future patches and mods will eventually resolve all major issues, making DW an enduring classic for naval wargame fans. It is the next best thing to a new Harpoon game!

Good work Sonalysts!
