Hello guys! Im reaching out to those who are much better at modding than i.
I have a huge dilemma! There are so many great new interfaces for uboots out there, i want to try them. On the other hand, i cannot live without nvdrifters "Depth Charge Shake v2.01". I have tried Hitman_GUI NYGM 1.1 ACM_GUI Reloaded- HSIES edition v1.01b for NYGM and MaGuiF... None work because of a conflict with the "cameras.dat". Or at least thats what i believe because with all these mods the scopes are off wack. The only new interface that works with Shake is Hitman Optics NYGM 3.1 fixed. Dont get me wrong i love the mod, but i really want to try the others. Here is where you wonderful mod brainaics come in. Can one of you please walk me through making DC shake work with the mods listed above? Like i said they all conflict with the cameras.dat. Ive looked at the computer language myself and was baffled. I am suprised i got HSIE and Steiblers patches to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I haven't looked at dc shake myself, but I do play MaGui and several mods I have mess with it, so I came up with my own solution...
Use Silent3Ditor to open both your camera.dat(s) from dc shake and your favourite gui mod. Look for the cameras that are changed the most (periscope, binocular, UZO, someone correct me) and copy those angular and size values into your dc shake camera file. Then I use the "save in mod" function of S3D to make a new mod just for my fix until I'm sure I have it. Et voila'! C'est magnifique! (forgive my french)

Ill give it a shot when i get home. Right now i am in that uninstalling/reinstalling phase of Sh3 trying to get those patches and certain mods to work ![]() |
