But but but... a kilo meter is exactelly 1.000 meters! Just move the dot three decimals to the right, in your imagination.

or do you want ranges not expressed in rounded kilometers (1.5KM) but in more precise meters (1,430m)?

Is what what you were asking about?

Just move the decimal.

1.5 Kilometers = 1,500 Meters

2.6 Kilometers = 2,600 Meters

1 Kilometer = 1.000 Meters.
Using the factor of 10, the metric system has made it fairly simple to convert between the different units. One can multiply one km by 10 to the power of three to convert to meters. A visual and simple way to convert is to take the decimal and move it three places to the right to change km to meters. Here is an example: if you have 42 kilometers, this will also read as 42.00 km. Moving the decimal three places to the right, you will get 42,000 meters.

If converting from meters to km, you will reverse the direction of moving the decimal, and go three places to the left. An example of this is having 450.00 meters. Moving the decimal three places to the left, one gets .450 km.

EDIT, all of the text is copy/pasted from a conversion site.

Sorri... I already know the problem. in the previous patch 1.3, ruler measurement unit for ruler in navigation map is in KM or NM unit. ever we just move the ruler to create a short line in the map. in my navigation map, 200 m, it show 0,5 KM. and the problem is I cannot determine the precisely enemy distance.

Problem solving : I just download patch 1.4 and installed it. and the ruler's measure unit is change to more specific in navigation map..

sorry for the this missunderstanding...

Thanks...
