Default Fiction or truth? A tale of 15 trillionn

I found this in German news. a British businessman tells in parliament a tale of a big heap of money getting handed around amongst British and American banks for the purpose of - well, what? If real, the issue certainly is giving the discription of a conspiracy of unimaginable proportions.

LINK the German story that hooked me
an English video from the British parliament with the original speech
LINK the story coverage by The Guardian

I dont know how some people manage to sleep at night, nor can i even begin to comprehend how its possible to reach such a level of power while having such little intergrity.
If its true, (nothing surprises me anymore) I hope they rot in hell.

I have lost faith in mankind long time ago, and stories like this certainly do not motivate me to see if i can revive it. Why should I even want that?

I'm with Ken Livingstone, shoot a Banker a day.

Personally I would shoot all the corrupt Bankers in the world if I had my way.

I agree, the big three have had there day.

Time for them to roll over and die and make way for the smaller party's, lets see a new party in government than these dinosaurs who between them have screwed this country up and spat on us all. Time to kick them where it hurts.

On the front of the German Reichstag, at the roof, there is a huge engraved scripture: "Dem deutschen Volke" (=To the German People).

A pathetic phrase, hollow, and not meaning anything that cannot be seen the other way around at the same time.

There - and on the front entry of any other parliamentary building in the world - another writing should be displayed:

"By threat of death penalty, entry is prohibited for business lobbyists, religious missionaries and members of political parties. Violators will be shot on sight without further warning. "

We live in a time when state reason and state politics have been successfully privatized. The creation of legislation and the formulation of laws and treaties already has been outsourced to private entrepreneurs since long. Those formally being legitimised to do that, do not do it and often are too incompetent to do it. Those doing it for real, are not legitimised by elections.

I see no other option except for countries with a democratic process to enact laws that prevent lobbyists and bankers from controlling government. Of course we've gone past this already. They have some control but the truth is they want complete control. Under the present system it's only a matter of time.

What choices remain for the people? I hate to think about it.

Yep, The world badly needs to get money out of politics, Are the police, courts or military allowed to accept bribes? No so why the hell is it legal for politicians to accept 'donations'?

One...? Dozens...! Plus the rich elite, millionaires and billionaires - they have transferred their wealth out of Greece since long time now, these proud rich Greeks who are so solidaric with their people. They do not wish to get taxed, but foreign workers and employes - these are stupid enough to be expected to pay in their place for that proud honourful Greece, and to risk their own pensions and future material wellbeing becasue proud, honourful Greek millionaires being taxed and contributing their share?! That certainly is expected to much!

The next Greek stepping in front of me and telling me about the pride of the Greek and the Greek honours and solidarity gets an arrow to the knee from me, promised.

Oh u crank! You must be ready for the gulag

How foolish!

How dare you interfere with our congressional "pitfalls" (bribes) and interfering with lobbyists (even bigger bribes) would be detrimental to our "democratic premise".

Stay where you are, you will be "seen" by a member of FEMA or homeland security to determine your "patriotism"

LULZ, funny scenario, but I see that happening within 5 years.
