Does anyone know where in SHIII the code for crew management (cruising mod, surface attack, submerged attack, etc) is loccated? I can't find the darn info.

I was wondering if it was possible to change the three options you have in the crew management screen to something more useful.

i.e.
Surfaced Cruise to 1ST WATCH
Surfaced Attack to 2ND WATCH
Surfaced Air attack to DAMAGE CONTROL

I NEVER use the three options the game offers. Basically change the crew with one click of the button rather than dragging and dropping everyone. I don't know about you but I have certain seamen/Warrant officers doing certain things and the other ways to change crew around just arbitrarily, (sp?) sending the crew everywhere. There is a thread around here that gave me the idea. I'll credit the member when I find it again.

I'm a barely a modder but I thought I might be able to tackle this.

EDIT: The thread is HERE Caspofungin came up with the suggestion.

You can make the labels say whatever you want. You can even disable the buttons. As far as I've been able to figure out, the function of the buttons is hard coded, so the short answer is no, or at least not to my knowledge.
