Sorry to say but the Bdu decides where you go. talk to admiral Karl Donitz, maybe he could send you there. (he's busy until october 1939).

While on the campaign selection screen just type silentotto .

Thanks Sober!! I made this cuestion 'cos starting at Kiel was frutrating in my good old (old,old..) pc - as it turned the rest of the game, so i decied to go back to SHIIIGW wich i had never tried and i it almost made me forget about SHV..

Anyway I will keep in mind Your advice till I get some more RAM!! Bye!

hai Sober, it's been for a while since I played sh5 and visited this forum. So lost track on the forum. I remember there was an option for playing without saving the game online. For my pc it's fine, but since I would like to restart a career I had like to save it local.

Remembering an option to check when starting a new career, but can't find it. Can you help me out?

Thanks Sober! I just started a career last night and saw all those interface problems (no maps, lot of missing icons, etc.) and slept badly. Now I found your post and discover the workaround in a single line:"Do not install any mods until you have recieved the green tick in the bunker." hé hé, ok, I'll do and will wait for the green tick to reinstall all mods

Great, I'll try again tonight, and if it work, I'll probably spend my night on board

Hi Soeber,

I followed your instructions, I could speak with the Technical Officer in the
bunker and I was able to upgrade.

The only problem is, that I can not leave the Navigation Map after I have
started a new patrol.

Enable all the mods with the mod enabler (jsgme) .
Start the game and start a new campaign then click start .

so which is it? Install the mods immediately after installing the game, or run the tutorial, escape out, and THEN install the mods??
