Hi
I have now completed Eastern Coastal Waters, and Breaking the Fortress missions, but having to returned to base, I can't seem to get the next mission. I've clicked on the officer in the submarine pen, and all that happens is he repeats the same story that he has the unfortunate that Birtain has declared war on Germany, whilst showing me a map. When that's done and I click to start a new patrol, there are no new mission objectives that I can see. May be I am doing something wrong? Any ideas anyone? Cheers /Jason

your next objective will be North Western Approaches.
It will be issued 1/11/39 Untill then you can go on patrol anywhere and sink tonnage to increase your renown. I will update post two on the OHII thread today with all objective dates |

Aha - so that's how it works! Thanks.
I wonder if you answer this also. How can you easily reset the TDC after it's been messed up? I was being chased by a destroyer and tried a manual shot under the bow - I'd set the TDC on a 180 bearing but for some reason the torpedo veered off slightly to one side and missed. Is there an easy way to reset it so that forward tubes just fire with a gyro angle of zero? Same for the rear tubes - in fact they're ones that have been giving me a headache! I've had torpedos come out and turn around almost 180 degrees!! ![]()

If you set the AOB dial to either zero or 180 and speed dial to zero - then the gyro should also goto zero and match your scope bearing
