I played DW for about 3 years from vs 1.0 all the way thru 1.04. Great game but I eventually grew tired of it.
Found a renewed interest in it and reinstalled. Took a bit of doing to get it to run under Win 7. But eventually got it up and running with the help of a number of posters here. The problem was antialiasing. Under XP on my old PC I could force AA on with no issue. Under W7 with an nvidia 560 2Gb graphics card if AA is forced on the game loads and I suspect still runs but the screen just goes haywire; menu options flicker like crazy; looking like busted neon lights in a neon sign. So even though DW runs fine without AA it looks like CRAP! Which isn't a deal killer but still. Any ideas on how to get AA turned on and still have DW run??? And if that isn't an option is there any way to get it to run at a higher resolution than 1024X768?

There's no workaround to these as far as I know.
Check RA/DWX mod for DW. It adds so much and fixes a lot of things. Personally I still love DW and play it for the gameplay. I just wish I could play online with DWX with a group of people...

I've not seen a reference to RA/DWX before. Can I find it here on SubSim?
