Default Aussies do the double against the Dutch hockey team!

http://www.smh.com.au/news/sport/hoc...840769521.html

The reign of the Dutch as the worlds best mens Hockey team appears to be over. Australia has comprehensively defeated them in the final of the Champions trophy having previously beaten them in the final at the Athens Olympics to grap the Olympic Gold Medal. All that is missing now is next years hockey World Cup which is to also be played also in Germany like the Football World Cup. Go the Kookaburras.

Good on the Dutchies for taking pity.

Netball.

What have you won in the last FIVE years?

Need I mention the recent Rugby (the Poms can mention that, too, actually), the Netball or the Rugby League (your own sport funnily enough).

The cricket was close.

I mean a real sport. Netball is just an excuse for chicks to get sweaty together whilst wearing short skirts and tight tops.

Australia won the Rugby League every year up until now. And what do you mean "our sport", it is only popular in two cities.

Who again defeated NZ in the rugby world cup semi?

We beat you in Cricket. And so the poms won the ashes, after 2 decades of Aussie dominance they were bound to win it by accident.

NZ lost out to the Solomons in World Cup Football qualifying, i didnt think that was possible if you had tried.
and NZ were gearing up to be the big fish in Oceania atfer Aus moves to Asia, unfortunatly for you the kiwis will still be bridesmaid, this time to the Solomon Islands

Oh well, you kiwis always have Australian professional sporting leagues to finish last in... NBL Basketball, A-League Soccer, NRL Rugby, all have teams representing your entire country that struggle against teams represnting single cities.

They don't represent NZ, they represent Auckland, which is not a part of NZ.

You say that about Netball like it's a bad thing.

Face it. Aussie is not dominant in anything anymore.

by accident...hmm sounds like a sore loser. We were just the better team. Granted got whacked by Pakistan but I think that was down to complacency.

Any way..cricket aside, we'd beat you at ASW every time...if your subs don't leak in the mean time.
